Born in Mexico and raised in California, I grew up playing soccer my entire life. I have played soccer from the YMCA level all the way to college. Simultaneously to being offered a scholarship to play at California Lutheran University, I was offered an opportunity of a lifetime to try my luck in European soccer. I flew to Greece and achieved my dream of signing a contract with a semi-professional team. Unfortunately, the global pandemic prevented me from traveling back to Greece to play a full season. Being back in California under quarantine, I knew that this was an opportunity to get better for the moment I was able to return to Greece.

I knew that one of the key aspects of the game that I had to improve was my nutrition. Soccer player's nutrition is vital and it can mean the difference between a good player and a stand out player. Unfortunately, finding great guidance for soccer specific nutrition turned out to be much harder than I anticipated. I found Amy online from one of her Soccer Today articles. Amy was by far the most qualified and invested soccer nutritionist I could find in the entire country. From the moment I first emailed her to this day, she has been extremely attentive, helpful and above all, honestly invested in my progress and feedback. Her program has helped me gain weight and muscle. I feel more confident than ever that I can and will achieve my goals of playing in Europe again, thanks to Amy's incredible expertise.
